Keep your spirits up whilst working this Christmas!

Over the festive season most people are taking a well earned break from work – but sadly, not everyone will have the day off. On average over one million people will be working this Christmas Day, which can leave those working over the holidays feeling blue – but here’s our top tips for staying motivated if you’re working hard this Christmas!

Start your day off as you mean to go on! Try playing your favourite festive track to kick start your day – starting on a positive note can make all the difference.

Its all about the rewards. Be kind to yourself – it can be hard being away from family over Christmas, so reward yourself when completing tasks with a little treat.

Make a plan. Christmas is a great time to take on those extra tasks that usually get forgotten due to demand, so make a plan and get some of those tasks done you don’t normally have time for – you’ll feel much better for it!

Get in the holiday mood! Decorating your work space and / or dressing up for the occasion is absolutely not compulsory but should be very much encouraged!

Above all, whether you’re working or not, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
