Flexistaff are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Cook to work for a busy Licensed Social Club in Dunstable.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Kitchen which is open 3 days per week, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday. You will be prepared to work 16-30 hours per week including weekends.

Main Duties:

  • Plan relevant, well structured & fully costed menus
  • Produce and present high quality food
  • Apply batch cooking techniques to ensure fresh food throughout service periods
  • Ensure that methods of food preparation, production & presentation comply with company’s standards

and client specification

  • Ensure supplies are sourced from the Company’s nominated supplier list
  • Create & maintain a healthy, safe & secure environment & ensure compliance with all health & safety

& food safety legislation

  • Recommend and implement new menu and operational ideas
  • Actively market and promote the catering service, including theme days and regular promotions
  • Prepare and Serve Sunday Roasts
  • Prepare Buffets for private functions

This is a 12 week temp to perm position, based on 16-30 hours per week

Pay £9.50 per hour
