Flexistaff is recruiting for 7.5 tonne driver to work with our client based in Dunstable Woodside Estate.

Monday – Friday start 08:00

Job Type: AdHoc

Salary: £16.00 per hour

The correct driver will have 7.5 tonne experience and have 180 days proven work on your tacho card.

Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
– Load and unload goods from the vehicle
– Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations
– Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
– Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries

Requirements:
– Valid commercial driving license (7.5-tonne or above)
– Proven 2 years’ experience as a 7.5-tonne driver or similar role
– Knowledge of flatbed truck operations is preferred
– Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
– Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills
– Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
– Good communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
