Position: Deputy Production Manager

Hours – day shift 09:00 – 17:00

Reporting to – Operations Manager

This is a new role within the business, the successful applicant will work closely with Production Manager supporting them to run an efficient production facility within business.

Main Responsibilities to include:

Responsible for all manufacturing activities within the business.

Primary duties to include planning, co-ordinating and controlling all areas of the production process.

Ensuing orders are produced on time and within budget.

Experience of both manual and automated production processes, in particular:

Bagging Machines

Flow Wrappers

Carton Box Production Line

Recommend procurement of factory production equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance.

Monitor and improve productivity rates whilst maintaining standards and quality control.

Recruit, train and motivate the permanent and temporary staff to ensure consistent output.

Develop, implement safety, health, environment, and quality standards.

Responsible for ensuring the department works to the SALSA food compliance standard.
